The competitive nature of today’s athletes often requires them to acquire additional skills training that goes beyond their typical in season team practice sessions. NexGen Specialty Camps and Clinics are developed and run in conjunction with accomplished local coaches and athletes. They are designed to provide participants with the additional skills, speed, quickness and performance necessary to excel in their sport of choice. The additional skills gained through a variety of structured drills can not only improve participants physical performance but can also give them improved situational awareness and knowledge at game time, allowing them to make critical and effective decisions. These camps and clinics focus on a single sport such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, or lacrosse just to name a few. Some of these camps are associated with accomplished athletes. If you or your child is crazy about a particular sport, a specialty sports camp may be just the thing. Developing mastery in a particular sport can give your child a gratifying sense of competence and a better chance at making school teams and maximizing playtime on the court or field.
